❓ How do I reset my Steam Deck if something breaks?
Create a recovery USB: download the Steam Deck Recovery Image from Valve, flash it with
balenaEtcher to a USB stick, then hold VOL- + Power at boot. You can
fully reinstall the OS without losing data on your SD card.
❓ Do these mods also work on the Steam Deck OLED?
Yes, all software mods listed here work identically on LCD and OLED Deck. Hardware mods (e.g. SSD upgrades) are also identical since the OLED uses the same M.2 2230 slot.
❓ Do I need to switch to Windows 11 for anti-cheat games?
